Terrence (Ty) Montgomery, RN, MSN, FNP-C, CEN, CCRN

Mr. Montgomery is a Family Nurse Practitioner, and the founder of Big Park Family Practice, PC. He graduated in 2006 from the University of Phoenix with a Masters of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree. He did his undergraduate work at several schools, including Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Excelsior College in New York, and Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. In addition to his nursing degrees, he also holds a BA in Communication Studies from Simpson College.

His healthcare background includes extensive work in the Emergency and Critical Care settings, including being a member of the Open-Heart Surgery Team at John C. Lincoln Hospital, work as a Critical Care Educator, and a Clinical Specialist role in ICU/Telemetry with Verde Valley Medical Center. He most recently worked with North Country Community Health Center in Flagstaff providing primary and urgent care services. Prior to beginning his nursing career in 2001, he worked nearly 13 years as a paramedic and firefighter for several municipal fire agencies in Iowa.

He is currently licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the State of Arizona, and holds national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He holds additional specialty certifications from the American Academy of Critical Care Nurses (CCRN), and the Board of Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN). He is a certified Instructor Trainer for Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Mr. Montgomery resides in the Village of Oak Creek with his wife and three children.
